Michael started his career as an associate in a large US-law firm in their Munich office. Most recently he was general counsel of a Swiss based family office.
Michael studied in Munich (Dr., M.B.A.) and at the University of Denver, Colorado (USA) (LL.M.). He is admitted to bar since 2004. He is member of the local chamber of lawyers.

Christian is a partner of RÖHRBORN LLP and advises on all aspects of corporate law, venture capital as well as private equity financings and M&A transactions. He also conducts complex corporate litigation proceedings on behalf of his clients.
Over the years, he has advised national and international founders, shareholders as well as strategic and institutional investors on financing rounds and transactions of various sizes up to multi-million deal volumes.
Due to his former activity as general counsel of a private equity fund and his own ongoing investor activities, Christian knows the requirements and needs of all parties involved, not only from a legal but also from a business perspective. This also includes the coordination of transaction teams, external experts and consultations with authorities in order to represent the interests of the client in a tailor-made manner. Christian also advises various domestic and foreign clients with regard to corporate litigation in front of German courts.
Before joining RÖHRBORN LLP Christian worked for several years as an associate in different major US-law firms in their Munich offices, as general counsel of a German private equity fund and as a partner of a national law-firm specialized on capital markets.
Christian studied law at the university of Augsburg and received his doctorate (Dr. jur.) from the university of Munich. He gained international experience while working with a U.S. law firm in Miami (USA) during his legal education.
Christian has been admitted to bar since 2006 and is a member of the local chamber of lawyers in Munich.

Sarah advises on all aspects of corporate law, venture capital and private equity financings and M&A transactions.
Sarah started her career as an associate in the corporate law and restructuring team of a large German law firm in Munich, with a focus on financing transactions.
She studied in Passau, Nantes (France), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Sydney (Australia). Simultaneously to her German law studies, Sarah earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of London International Programmes.
During her legal training, Sarah received training as a business mediator („Münchener Ausbildung zum Wirtschaftsmediator (MUCDR)“).
Sarah was admitted to the Munich bar in 2019.

Frank joined RÖHRBORN LLP in 2019. Before, he worked in the Munich and Frankfurt offices of several international law firms from the US and UK, in the end in the position as counsel. Frank studied in Dresden, Geneva and Bologna. He has been admitted to the bar in 2010.

Jens is the founder and managing partner of RÖHRBORN. He is a widely respected legal expert in all matters related to Venture Capital and M&A with a special emphasis in the fintech/ payments and financially regulated companies industry.
Jens began his career as an associate in a US-law firm in Washington, DC. (USA), later in New York (USA). Together with two partners, he started his own law firm in 1995, focusing on the representation of the interests of investors and entrepreneurs of emerging companies. In 2010 he sold his firm to a large US-law firm and became managing partner of their Munich office before starting RÖHRBORN. Over the past years, Jens led many VC, Private Equity and M&A transactions. He accompanied many of his clients’ initial public offerings (IPO).
Jens served as a member of the board at Wirecard Bank AG, Lieferando, Medici Co-Living, PPRO Financial and others.
